Escape the city and join WILD on our annual spring adventure to Harriman State Park. This immersive outdoor experience gives students the opportunity to hike scenic forest trails, paddle across a peaceful lake, and camp beneath the stars in one of New York’s most beautiful natural settings. Throughout the trip, participants will develop confidence, resilience, leadership, and teamwork skills while learning essential outdoor techniques and practicing Leave No Trace principles. Whether you’re new to camping or an experienced adventurer, this trip offers a chance to disconnect from screens, slow down, and fully engage with the natural world while building meaningful connections with your peers and yourself. This trip fulfills the Bronze Adventurous Journey requirement for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The trip is open to all high school students, with priority given to Duke of Edinburgh participants.
Participants must be entering grades 9 to 11.
Please contact Dwight School WILD Outdoor Program if you have any questions.
